Inside Sales/Sales Development

Tele-Works, Inc., a growing software firm in Blacksburg, VA, is hiring an Inside Sales/Sales Development professional with 1+ years of SaaS/technology sales experience. Working in the Inside Sales Department, the successful candidate will be a motivated, articulate, energetic individual with demonstrated success in phone-based sales. The candidate must be a willing contributor interested in all inside sales-related activities and amenable to some travel for conferences and sales support events. This person must be effective working both independently and collaboratively as a member of an integrated Sales Department.

Primary responsibilities of the Inside Sales/Sales Development position include the following: uncovering leads through cold-calling and phone-based discovery of business opportunities; executing campaigns and tracking prospects in a customer relationship management system; managing opportunities and converting/transitioning them as appropriate; offering sales support and lead generation for regional territories, managers, and marketing efforts; representing both established and evolving products and services; and meeting individual and team sales quotas and objectives.

Qualifications:

Bachelors Degree or equivalent preferred
Excellent phone sales abilities
Strong verbal/written communication skills
1+ years of SaaS and/or technology sales experience
Highly motivated, goal-oriented, self-sufficient, flexible, competitive, and able to build strong relationships
Excellent time management, organizational, and planning skills
Computer literate in basic office software and knowledgeable of basic web demonstration and selling tools

Customer & Technical Support Specialist

Tele-Works, Inc., a growing software firm in Blacksburg, VA, is hiring in its Customer and Technical Support Group.

Primary responsibilities include: participating in customer help-desk and technical support operations, training customers on products both onsite and remotely via web conferencing, and organizing and managing product installations. The candidate must be a willing contributor interested in all customer support related activities and amenable to travel.

Applicants should be service-oriented self-starters, trainable, organized and comfortable with technology complexities, computer literate in basic office software and knowledgeable of basic computer networking. The candidate must demonstrate interpersonal demeanor and a proven track record of strong verbal and written communication skills and be able to communicate well to both technical and non-technical audiences. Candidates must be able to multi-task, problem solve, and coordinate resources to ensure timely resolution of customer issues. Programming knowledge and experience is a plus.

Software Developer

We are looking for talented (0-5 years experience) candidates who are proficient in .NET/C#, database applications, and/or web user interfaces. We are seeking analytical individuals who are detail oriented and methodical to contribute to software design and development efforts. Effective written and verbal communication skills are required. Candidates will work in a team environment but must be self-motivated and flexible. Position requires the ability to juggle multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
