Tele-Works and inHANCE Announce Partnership to Provide Affordable Hosted IVR

Tyler,  TX  (7 Nov 2008)—Tele-Works and inHANCE Utility Systems (iUS) announce a partnership to provide hosted utility billing IVR to all iUS customers under the inHANCE label i-CALL. “By offering hosted IVR to inHANCE’s more than 200 customers, we are able to make IVR available for hundreds of agencies that have previously been unable to afford it,” said John Schott, Tele-Works President and CEO.

Hosted IVR removes the up-front investment required by a more traditional IVR solution, which requires an investment in hardware, software, and additional phone/network capacity, and replaces that cost with a low annual subscription.

IVR self-service options provide a boost to customer satisfaction since customers will have 24/7 access to their utility accounts to hear balances, make payments, and get answers to frequently asked questions. And the customer service department will be able to take care of more customers and become more efficient in its collections process without having to add staff. In fact, most utilities should see a full return on their IVR investment in fewer than 12 months.
