Committed to providing a top-quality IVR solution for NorthStar Utilities Solutions clients, Tele-Works and NorthStar have jointly developed vCARE IVR with real-time integration into the Harris NorthStar utility CIS.
vCARE integrates Tele-Works’ IVR technology with NorthStar’s utility billing software to provide account holders with 24/7 access to account information through a touchtone phone. Account holders can hear balance and payment history as well as make payments with a credit card or eCheck. In addition, the outbound calling feature allows utilities to be proactive in delivering timely notices and information to their customers. The system allows utilities to place reminder calls to past-due accounts, which has shown to reduce shutoffs by 30-70%. vCARE is available as both a hosted or on-premise solution, allowing customers the flexibility to choose the best option for their situation.
